Today, I want to tell you about the revelation I had that has helped me build a successful information business and has helped me sell digital info products in just about any niche out there.
It's all about getting Specific. (that may sound boring... but that's where the money actually is).
Here's what I mean...
When most people start out trying to sell something online they do their best to make sure that the product is something that appeals to as wide an audience as possible.
This is a giant mistake.
An Example Product:
"How to Create a Facebook Ad that gets sub .05 Clicks"
You've seen products that make this claim and the problem is two fold.
#1 It's generic and boring and it's hard for a target prospect to see how your product is different from the 50 other people with a
product that teaches this.
#2 if anyone does buy it, they are most likely going to be the kind of customer that drives you crazy (because they'll want to use your info for something that is not what the product was designed to teach.)
So... Let's Get Specific:
What if... instead... you created a product that looked like this:
"How a Dentist can Get 10 new patients a month using Facebook Ad and only spend .05 every time an interested party clicks on their ad"
Now...
You've just created a product that a ton of people won't buy because they aren't a Dentist (or they don't work with dentist).
But... You've also created something that is LASER TARGETED to a certain audience.
There is no doubt that this product was custom made for a certain person.
In a sea of people who are generic and praying that they get attention, you just demanded it by narrowingyour audience down and focusing.
When I realized this 5 years ago...
Everything Changed.
The key is to create something that solves specific problems for a very specific group of people.
When you understand that it starts to become easy to earn your first $1000 online and to turn it into a business that can replace your job and a whole lot more.
